Bachelor of Dental Surgery is the four years degree program and one year house job. BDS is the degree program and it requires the four years of education and one year house jobto test the skills and knowledge learned during their study in the regular classes. This degree is just like MBBS based and the study scheme of BDS is the annual prof exams system.

Fee Structure

BDS Eligibility Criteria for Admissions in Pakistan 2020

The candidates can get the BDS admission eligibility criteria according to the PMDC, which is mentioned as following:
Minimum Eligibility Criteria for BDS for local students:
The candidates, who pass their twelve years of education or the Higher Secondary School Certificate in FSc Pre-Medical or equivalent, they can apply for admission for BDS classes. The students, who can get enrolled in BDS degree program, they secured at least 70% marks in Inter Pre-Medical, they are required to apply for admission. The minimum eligibility criteria for A-level students, who have foreign education with minimum three science subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Mathematics. The BDS course must be recognized by Inter Boards Committee of Chairman for equivalency to FSc Pre-Medical or HSSC level of Pakistan with at least 70% marks.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria for Foreign or Overseas Pakistani Students:

The foreign or overseas Pakistani students, who want to get admission in the BDS programs, they must have completed twelve years of education to get admission in the BDS programs. The overseas students can apply for admission against foreign quota seats in the government or private dental colleges of Pakistan. The candidates must have passed their inter with three science subjects including Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics or Physics with minimum 70% marks. These courses must be certified by Inter Boards Committee of Chairman for equivalency to FSc. The foreign candidates must also fulfill the requirements to get admission, which is mentioned as follow:

The candidates must have 5.5 or 500 minimum ban score certification of IELTS or TOEFL after the one year long English language course, which is offered by NUML certification.

The candidates must have SAT-II exams with at least 550 marks in each of three courses including Chemistry, Biology and either Math or Physics or have passed the foreign MDCAT 2020 with minimum course of 500.
