SHC Halts SPSC CCE 2024 Results Over Transparency Concerns
Sindh High Court has temporarily suspended the results of the Combined Competitive Exams CCE 2024 conducted by the Sindh Public Service Commission following complaints regarding irregularities in the recruitment process. The court took action after several candidates challenged the fairness and transparency of the CPSC CCE Exams results 2026.
Court Orders Sealing of Exams Record After Candidates Raise Allegations
A two-member bench comprising Justice Muhammad Saleem Jessar and Justice Nisar Ahmed Bhanbro directed the commission to preserve and seal all records connected to the Exams. The court also summoned SPSC officials and sought the complete record of the recruitment process for further review.
The petition was filed by seven candidates who claimed that a number of applicants with higher marks were ignored, while less qualified candidates were allegedly declared successful. The petitioners requested a transparent audit of the SPSC CEE Exams 2026 results and questioned the credibility of the commission’s selection procedure.
The SPSC had announced the CCE 2024 results on May 6, selecting 70 candidates under different quotas, including male, female, urban, and rural categories. The screening Exams was held in October 2025, while written papers took place in December across Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, and Larkana.
The controversy triggered protests outside the SPSC office in Hyderabad, where demonstrators demanded an independent inquiry into the Exams process. Reports also stated that FIRs were registered against several protesters and social media activists accused of spreading unrest related to the issue.
