KMU Admissions 2025 PhD & MS program

Khyber Medical University KMU, committed to excellence in academics and research, invites applications for PhD and MPhil/MS programs for the Spring Session 2026. Admissions are open to all Pakistani nationals, both male and female candidates.

PhD Programs

Physical Therapy

Medical Laboratory Sciences

Eligibility:

Minimum CGPA 3.0/4.0 in semester system or 60% marks in annual system.

Passing Institutional Graduate Entry Test IGET with 70% or GRE.

Relevant Master’s degree in the respective field from an HEC-recognized institution.

One-page Statement of Purpose required.

MPhil/MS Programs

Available in:

Physical Therapy

Medical Laboratory Sciences

Optometry

Occupational Therapy

Prosthetics & Orthotics

Transitional BS in Prosthetics & Orthotics

Eligibility:

Minimum CGPA 2.5 or equivalent marks.

Relevant Bachelor’s/Master’s degrees in the specific field from an HEC-recognized institution.

Passing entrance test is mandatory for admission.

Specific eligibility criteria vary depending on the program. For example, Physical Therapy PhD requires a Master’s in Physical Therapy, while Medical Laboratory Sciences requires a combination of BSc and MPhil/MS degrees in the relevant field.

Upload recent passport-size photographs, attested copies of educational certificates/degrees/DMCs, and CNIC.
