The Institute of Petroleum Technology IPT, Karak — a flagship government initiative to develop a skilled workforce for Pakistan’s booming Oil & Gas sector — proudly announces Admissions 2025 Open for Academic Session 2025-2026 in the 03-Year Diploma of Associate Engineering DAE in Drilling & Drilling Fluids Technology.
This specialized program equips students with cutting-edge knowledge and hands-on training in drilling operations, drilling fluids, and well-control technologies essential to the upstream oil & gas industry.

Affiliation: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Technical & Commerce Education, Peshawar
Location: IPT Karak Inside Govt. Polytechnic Institute, Near Industrial Estate, Main Indus Highway, Karak
Seat Allocation Total: 40 Seats:
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 20 seats
Punjab: 5 seats
Sindh: 5 seats
Baluchistan: 5 seats
AJK: 1 seat
Gilgit Baltistan: 1 seat
New Merged Districts of KP: 1 seat
Disabled Quota: 1 seat
Minority Quota: 1 seat
Eligibility Criteria:
Minimum Qualification: Matric with Science
Nationality: Pakistani All provinces/regions as per quota
Deadline:
All applications must reach IPT on or before 25th August, 2025.
Late or incomplete applications will not be entertained.
Important Dates:
Merit List Display: 28th August, 2025
Interviews: 2nd September, 2025
Commencement of Classes: 10th September, 2025
Note:
Selected candidates must deposit admission fees on the day of interview.
Students must submit migration forms for onward submission to the KPBTE at the time of admission.
