Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission, candidates must hold a 16-year education in a relevant field with a minimum of 50% marks or CGPA>2.5, as per the criteria laid down by the Higher Education Commission HEC of Pakistan. Additionally, MBBS graduates must have completed a one-year house job and not be older than 58 years of age. Candidates are also required to pass the Graduate Assessment Test GAT-C General with a minimum qualifying score of 50%, as per HEC criteria.

Admission Procedure

Eligibility Assessment:

Applicants must fulfill various criteria including possessing a basic medical qualification, completing a one-year house job from recognized institutions, providing two reference letters from faculty members, and holding a valid certificate of registration with relevant medical councils.

Candidates should not be older than 58 years of age as per the guidelines set by PM&DC/PMC.

Entry Examination:

All candidates must pass the Graduate Assessment Test GAT-C General with a minimum score of 50% as per HEC criteria. Failure to submit valid result cards by the specified deadline will lead to automatic cancellation of admission applications.

Interview:

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, which is a compulsory component of the admission process. Original academic credentials, including certificates of house job completion and good conduct, must be presented during the interview.

General Instructions

The allocation of training slots is highly competitive, with admission offered to candidates based on merit and the availability of slots in specific specialties.

Paid seats are available only for MBBS graduates in certain specialties, subject to the availability of funds.

Candidates can apply for more than one specialty by submitting separate application forms for each, along with the required fee.

Application forms, along with relevant documents and fees, can be submitted to the Office of the Assistant Registrar Academics during the specified dates.
