Regulations & Important Instructions

Maximum marks for each of these written examinations is 300 for most specialties. To pass the written examination, a candidate must obtain a cumulative 60% across MCQ and SAQ papers. Only those who clear the written stage will be eligible to sit for the KEMU Lahore clinical OSCE examination. Candidates may apply for rechecking within 10 days of the result publication by submitting the prescribed form with the fee. Errors and omissions are excepted.

What This Means for Students

Students who passed their written part can now prepare for the clinical component OSCE, a critical step toward completion of their postgraduate training. Those who did not meet the 60% threshold must plan for reattempt or retake in the next offering. The rechecking option offers a recourse for any discrepancies in marking.

KEMU’s timely release of KEMU Result 2025 for MS, MD & MDS exams helps postgraduate students chart their next steps — whether that’s OSCE preparation, reattempt, or applying for rechecking. The official notification is available through the KEMU Controller of Examinations.
