Sindh Govt Offers Fully Funded Scholarships to Deserving Students




The Sindh government, through the Sindh Educational Endowment Fund SEEF Trust, has launched a scholarship initiative for the 2024–2025 academic year. This program is aimed at helping academically outstanding students from low-income backgrounds continue their higher education at selected public and private institutions across the province. Scholarship Program Targets Talented Students from Low-Income Families

The scholarship covers full tuition fees for one academic year and is available for students pursuing degrees in approved fields, such as:

  • Medicine MBBS, BDS, DPT, Pharmacy, Nursing
  • All branches of Engineering
  • Agriculture Engineering
  • Veterinary Science DVM
  • Social Sciences
  • Business Administration
  • Law 5-year LLB program
  • Information Technology

Who Can Apply:
To be eligible, applicants must:

  1. Be a permanent resident and domicile holder of Sindh.
  2. Be enrolled in a university or institute that is part of the SEEF-approved panel for the 2024–2025 session.
  3. Have secured at least a 2.5 GPA or 60% marks.
  4. Provide proof of family income through FBR documentation.
  5. Submit salary slips if the applicant is a child of a government employee.
  6. Meet the income thresholds outlined by SEEF.

Income Categories & Scholarship Distribution:
  • Group A Income up to PKR 100,000: 80% allocation
  • Group B PKR 100,001 – 1,500,000: 80% allocation
  • Group C PKR 1,500,001 – 2,500,000: 10% allocation
  • Group D Above PKR 2,500,000: 10% allocation

Reserved Quotas Include:
  • 86% for academically strong but economically disadvantaged students
  • 2% for students with disabilities
  • 2% for minority students
  • 5% for orphaned students
  • 5% for children of Sindh government employees

Disqualification Conditions:
Applicants will not be considered if they:
  • Are enrolled in institutions not listed by SEEF
  • Are part of self-financed or foreign exchange programs
  • Are already receiving another scholarship
  • Submit incomplete, false, or misleading documents
  • Do not meet the minimum academic performance requirements
