Faisalabad Board Makes Biometric Verification Mandatory for 9th & 11th
Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Faisalabad has introduced a new system for the online registration and admission of regular students enrolling in Matric Part 1 and Intermediate Part 1 for the academic session 2026–28. According to the board’s decision, completing registration through the online portal is now compulsory, and biometric verification will be a key requirement for exam participation. During the registration process, live fingerprint scanning of both thumbs of each student will be conducted to ensure authenticity and accuracy of records. Students and school staff are advised to stay informed about updates related to this registration process and requirements. Guidelines for Biometric Setup and Student Registration Process
The Faisalabad Board has directed all affiliated institutions to arrange the necessary biometric devices along with laptops or computers at their own expense before the official registration schedule is issued. Schools must ensure that students’ thumb impressions are captured live during the online data entry process. The board has made it clear that any registration submitted without biometric verification will not be accepted, and the responsibility for such negligence will lie with the respective institutions.
