Punjab Government Benevolent Fund offers scholarships to the children of current, retired, or deceased government employees. These scholarships are aimed at assisting students who have shown academic excellence and are pursuing further education in higher classes. Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the scholarship, the children of government employees must meet the following criteria:

  • The applicant must have passed their matriculation or any higher examinations with a minimum of 60% marks.

  • The scholarship is available for students enrolled in Inter, BA, BS, MA, or MSc classes.

  • Each eligible government employee can apply for a maximum of two children. However, if one of the children is attending a special institution for children with disabilities, a third child can be considered for the scholarship.

Additionally, children of deceased government employees can receive the scholarship for their education from primary school through to matriculation.

Scholarship for Children of Deceased or Disabled Government Employees

Special provisions are made for children of government employees who are deceased or retired due to disability:

  • The children of deceased or retired government employees are eligible for scholarships from primary education up to matriculation.

  • In cases where the child is studying in a special education institution, the scholarship can be awarded for three children.

Application Process

To apply for the Punjab Government Servants Benevolent Fund scholarship, government employees must submit the prescribed application form, which must be attested by the head of their educational institution. Applications are to be forwarded to the relevant office through the head of the department.

Required Documents

The following documents must be submitted along with the completed application form:

  • A copy of the CNIC or B-form of the student.

  • Copies of the CNIC of the parents.

  • For in-service employees: a copy of the computerized payslip for December 2024 or January 2025. For retired employees: an attested copy of the pension book PPO.

  • A copy of the result card issued by the respective board or university Note: Internet downloads are not accepted. The result card must reflect a minimum of 60% marks, and the applicant must not have failed any subject or been absent from any paper.

How to Obtain and Submit the Application Form

  • The application form can be obtained from the Administrator Benevolent Fund at Alfalah Building Lahore, or from the District Welfare Fund Boards chaired by the DC.

  • The application forms can also be downloaded from the official website.

Important Dates

Applications for the Punjab Government Servants Benevolent Fund scholarship will be accepted from January 01, 2025, to March 31, 2025.
