PMDC MDCAT 2025 Test Date and Details
The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council PMDC has officially set the date for the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test MDCAT 2025. The entrance exam will take place across the country on Sunday, October 5, 2025. The students can get latest updates of PMDC MDCAT 2025 Test Date and Details.
This decision was announced during a session of the National Assembly Standing Committee on National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination, chaired by Dr. Mahesh Kumar Malani. PMDC representatives confirmed the test would be conducted simultaneously at all designated centers nationwide.
In preparation for the upcoming test, PMDC has also introduced a pmdc mdcat revised syllabus. According to Dr. Rizwan Taj, President of PMDC, PMDC MDCAT 2025 will assess candidates in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, and Logical Reasoning.
The MDCAT 2025 test will comprise 180 multiple-choice questions MCQs to be completed in three hours. There will be no negative marking. The question paper will be divided by difficulty level: 15% easy, 70% moderate, and 15% difficult.
To pass, applicants must achieve at least 55% marks for admission to medical colleges and 50% for dental colleges. PMDC has also initiated work on a centralized question bank, created in collaboration with education boards, academic professionals, and universities.
