About Rawalpindi Medical University

Rawalpindi Medical University was set up with the provision of basic infrastructure and it is recognized by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. The university has also revamped the human resources to carry out the new responsibilities to meet the future challenges like ever-increasing load of patients in the teaching hospitals. This university has the vision to impart the evidence based research oriented medical education and provide best possible patient care and also to inculcate values of mutual respect and ethical practice of medicine. This university was set up in Faisalabad in 1974 and after that it was shifted to Rawalpindi in the Science Block of Gordon College and after that this building was handed over to RMC. The university offers education in MBBS, BSc Nursing and Allied Health Sciences and the students can apply for admission, when the admission notices are issued. The university offers the higher education in different medical and surgical departments and the students, who want to do their specialization, they can check the complete detail of the programs, which are offered to the students to complete their master degree.

UHS Lahore manages the admissions of the students for the MBBS programs and the students can apply for admission at the time of announcement of the admissions and the students can get education in the MBBS and BDS departments.
