120 Pakistani Universities Shine in THE Impact Rankings 2025

The Times Higher Education THE Impact Rankings for 2025 have been announced, highlighting universities worldwide that are making significant strides toward achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals SDGs. This year, Pakistan has demonstrated remarkable growth, with 120 pakistani universities making it into the global rankings—a testament to the country’s increasing focus on sustainability and responsible education. The students can get latest updates of 120 Pakistani Universities Shine in Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2025.
In 2025, a record-breaking 2,526 universities from 130 countries and regions were assessed. Among Pakistani institutions, the University of Lahore earned special recognition by ranking within the top 150 globally, marking a major milestone for both the institution and Pakistan’s higher education sector.
Pakistan Strengthens Global Standing with Impressive Showing in Sustainable Development Rankings
A broad range of Pakistani universities secured positions across multiple ranking bands. Institutions such as Allama Iqbal Open University, Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology KFUEIT, and Ilma University earned high placements, while dozens of others, including COMSATS University Islamabad, Fatima Jinnah Women’s University, and Lahore College for Women University, were recognized for their sustained efforts in multiple SDG categories.
