The Lawrence College, Ghora Gali (LCGG), Murree is an historical and oldest educational institution located in high mountainous area of Punjab, Murree. The Lawrence College, Murree was established in British era in 1860 by Sir Henry Montgomery Lawrence. Initially, it was a school and after the passage of time it gained the status of college on behalf of its progress and performance. The LCGG The College is located in the foothills of the Himalayas and Pir Panjal at a height of about 1950 metres (6395 feet) above sea level, covering an area of 150 acres (61 ha). It is 4 km from Murree and 57 km from Rawalpindi/Islamabad.
