BZU Multan Announces Holidays for Eid and Pakistan Day
Bahauddin Zakariya University BZU, Multan, has officially announced a series of holidays for its main campus and all regional sub-campuses. According to the notification issued by the Registrar’s office, the university will remain closed from March 19th to March 23rd, 2026. This five-day break is scheduled to observe two significant occasions: the religious festival of Eid-ul-Fitr and the national holiday of Pakistan Day.
Important Dates for Students and Staff
The closure affects all academic departments, administrative offices, and constituent colleges. Normal operations are expected to resume following the break. Students residing in hostels and those traveling from other cities are advised to plan their journeys according to this schedule:
- Holidays Start: Thursday, March 19, 2026
- Holidays End: Monday, March 23, 2026
- Resumption of Classes: Tuesday, March 24, 2026 expected
Impact on Academic Activities
All scheduled lectures, departmental tests, and administrative meetings falling within these dates have been postponed. The BZU University administration has directed all deans and heads of departments to ensure that students are informed of any rescheduled activities. This break provides a timely opportunity for the campus community to celebrate Eid with their families and honor the historical significance of the Pakistan Resolution passed on March 23rd.
