UoK Sanctions Updated PharmD Curriculum
The Academic Council of the University of Karachi has formally approved the revised PharmD curriculum proposed by the Faculty of Pharmacy’s Board of Studies. The decision was made during a meeting chaired by Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Khalid Mahmood Iraqi at the Chinese Teachers’ Memorial Auditorium on Monday. Academic Council Approves Curriculum Revisions and Faculty Decisions
During the session, the council also endorsed the minutes from its previous meeting held on September 11, 2025, and approved the proceedings of the Faculty of Education’s Board of Studies meeting conducted on September 15, 2025.
Additionally, the council nominated three members to serve a three-year term on the Board of the Faculty of Law: Professor Dr. Samina Saeed, Professor Dr. Anila Ambar Malik, and Professor Dr. Naima Saeed.
In response to a request from the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization, the council sanctioned a regularization and verification facility for MPhil and PhD programs offered by the Department of Health, Physical Education, and Sports Sciences.
The council also approved the minutes of the Advanced Studies and Research Board meeting from August 26, 2025, as well as the proceedings of the Faculty of Science’s Board of Studies meeting held on October 15, 2025, ensuring that all academic and administrative updates are officially recorded and implemented.
