Punjab University Announces Fall 2026 Admission Test Schedule
The University of the Punjab PU has officially released the Fall 2026 admission test schedule for applicants seeking admission to MS, MPhil, MSc Engineering/Hons./Equivalent, and PhD programmes. The schedule covers both Regular and Self-Supporting categories.
According to the Punjab University, written admission tests will take place from 20 July to 25 July 2026 in the respective teaching departments and institutes. Depending on the programme, examinations will be conducted in two sessions: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
PU has also announced that PhD English has been included in the Fall 2026 admission cycle as an additional programme following the earlier admission advertisement.
Candidates who successfully qualify in the written examination will be invited for interviews scheduled between 3 August and 10 August 2026. Interviews will be conducted by the concerned departments, institutes, schools, centres, or colleges according to the official timetable.
The university has advised applicants to regularly visit the official Punjab University website and their respective departments for updates regarding interview dates, timings, and venues. Candidates must also bring their original academic documents and other required certificates at the time of the interview for verification.
Students are encouraged to follow the announced schedule carefully and complete all admission formalities within the specified timelines to avoid any inconvenience.
