Lahore, The Education Minister of Punjab government made the announcement that due to spreading of Coronavirus pandemic in the country, the government has decided to impose smart lock down in various areas, which are severely hit by this pandemic and NCOC recommended to take steps to close government and private schools across the province from 06 to 11 September 2021. Dr Murad Ras, Education Minister of Punjab government has taken this initiative to protect the lives of the students, teachers and other staff as the ratio of positive cases is grown up to six percent, which is alarming situation and the government decided that Punjab Schools close from 06 to 11 September 2021. The government will observe the COVID-19 situation closely and during the next meeting of NCOC, the situation will be discussed and further decision will be made in the light of COVID situation in the province.
