Sindh Government Directs Private Schools to Return Excess Fees
The authorities in Sindh have instructed private schools to refund extra fees that were collected from Class 10 students beyond the limits set in official regulations. Schools have also been cautioned that strict legal action will be taken if they fail to follow these instructions. This order has been issued by the Directorate of Inspection and Registration of Private Institutions Sindh DIRPIS following an earlier notification released on April 22. The department took this step after receiving several complaints against private schools that charged fees for periods not allowed under the defined policy. As a result, all concerned institutions have been directed to promptly return the additional amount to students or their parents. The circular, signed by Additional Director Prof. Rafia Mallah, has been distributed to regional offices and school administrations across Sindh to ensure immediate implementation.
