Punjab Implements Strict Rules for Students Failing Multiple Subjects




The Punjab Education Department has introduced new academic regulations for students studying in government colleges across the province. The students can get the latest updates of Punjab Implements Strict Rules for Students Failing Multiple Subjects.

As per the recent notification, any student who fails two or more subjects receiving an “F” grade will not be eligible for forwarding to the admission board. This step has been taken to improve academic performance and maintain a required standard of learning among college students.

Revised Academic Policy for Government College Students

The updated policy also includes a fine system for absences. Students who skip any examination paper will be charged Rs. 200 per paper, while missing a monthly test will result in a Rs. 100 fine per paper. Additionally, if a student fails to appear in an exam without providing a valid medical certificate, their absence will be marked as a failure.

To strengthen academic discipline, it has been made compulsory for all students to participate in monthly, December, and pre-board examinations. These new rules will be uniformly enforced across all government colleges in Punjab.
