BSEK Announces 9th Class Science & General Group Result 2025
The Board of Secondary Education Karachi BSEK has officially declared the results of the 9th Class Annual Examinations 2025 for both Science and General Groups Regular and Private.
According to Chairman Prof. Ghulam Hussain Sohoo, the results have been uploaded to the board’s official website www.bsek.edu.pk. He emphasized that transparency remains the board’s top priority and extended congratulations to all successful students. The announcement was made in the presence of Controller of Examinations Dr. Hamzo Khan Nigar and members of the Result Committee.
BSEK 9th Science Group Result 2025
- Total Registered Candidates: 177,660
- Appeared Candidates: 175,511
- Absent Candidates: 2,149
- Successful Candidates: 137,350
- Overall Pass Percentage: 78.26%
Performance Breakdown by Number of Papers Passed:
- Passed in 6 papers: 118,518 candidates
- Passed in 5 papers: 70,069 candidates
- Passed in 4 papers: 48,394 candidates
- Passed in 3 papers: 22,246 candidates
- Passed in 2 papers: 18,133 candidates
- Passed in 1 paper: 13,375 candidates
The Science Group maintained a strong overall performance with a success rate of 78.26%, reflecting consistent improvement in academic results compared to previous years.
BSEK 9th General Group Result 2025 — Regular & Private Students
Regular Candidates
- Total Registered: 15,195
- Appeared: 14,984
- Absent: 970
- Pass Percentage: 57.17%
Performance Breakdown Regular Students:
- Passed in 7 papers: 5,886 candidates
- Passed in 6 papers: 2,204 candidates
- Passed in 5 papers: 986 candidates
- Passed in 4 papers: 512 candidates
- Passed in 3 papers: 292 candidates
- Passed in 2 papers: 166 candidates
- Passed in 1 paper: 148 candidates
Private Candidates
- Total Registered: 5,146
- Appeared: 4,689
- Absent: 357
- Overall Pass Percentage: 48.26%
Performance Breakdown Private Students:
- Passed in 7 papers: 2,263 candidates
- Passed in 6 papers: 1,612 candidates
- Passed in 5 papers: 539 candidates
- Passed in 4 papers: 309 candidates
- Passed in 3 papers: 166 candidates
- Passed in 2 papers: 90 candidates
- Passed in 1 paper: 114 candidates
The combined pass percentage for both Regular and Private General Groups stood at 54.38%.
