Punjab Govt Benevolent Fund Scholarships for Employees’ Children




Punjab Government Benevolent Fund provides scholarships to children of in-service, retired, or deceased government employees. These scholarships are available to students who have passed matriculation or higher examinations with at least 60% marks and are currently enrolled in higher classes such as Inter, BA, BS, or MA/MSc. Number of Eligible Children

Normally, applications can be submitted for a maximum of two children. However, if a child is studying in a recognized institution for special education, the scholarship application can include up to three children. Children of deceased employees may also be eligible for scholarships from primary to matric level, especially in cases involving disability.

Eligibility Criteria
  • The student must have passed matriculation or higher examinations with a minimum of 60% marks.
  • The student should be enrolled in the next higher class.
  • Special provision allows a third child to apply if studying in a recognized institution for special education.
Application Process

Government employees must submit the completed application form attested by the head of their institution. Applications should be sent to the relevant office via the head of the department.

Required Documents

Applicants need to submit:

  • Copy of the student’s CNIC/B-form.
  • Copies of parents’ CNICs.
  • For in-service employees: a copy of the computerized payslip from December 2024 or January 2025. For retired employees: an attested copy of the pension book PPO.
  • Original result card from the board or university showing a minimum of 60% marks. Downloaded results are not accepted, and students must not have failed or been absent in any subject.

Application Availability

Application forms can be collected from the Administrator Benevolent Fund at Alfalah Building, Lahore, or the DC/Chairman of District Welfare Fund Boards. They are also available online at bfms.punjab.gov.pk. Applications can be submitted from January 1, 2026, to March 31, 2026.
