PU Lahore Eid Holidays and Spring Recess Dates 2026
University of the Punjab has released a detailed schedule for its upcoming closure, encompassing both the Eid ul Fitr celebrations and the Spring Recess for 2026. The students can get the latest updates of Punjab University Holiday Schedule for Eid and Spring Break.
Eid ul Fitr Holiday Break
The university will observe a full closure from March 20, 2026, to March 23, 2026, in honor of Eid ul Fitr. During this four-day period:
- All academic and administrative functions will be suspended.
- This closure applies to all students, teaching faculty, and administrative staff members.
Spring Recess and Campus Reopening
Following the Eid break, the university has scheduled a Spring Recess from March 24, 2026, to March 27, 2026. The specific details for this period include:
- Academic Suspension: All teaching departments, constituent colleges, schools, centers, and institutes will remain closed for students and faculty during this recess.
- Administrative Presence: Unlike the Eid break, the administrative staff are required to return to duty during the Spring Recess following the conclusion of the Eid holidays.
- Resumption of Activities: The university is set to return to its standard operational schedule and normal academic activities on March 30, 2026.
