Private Unis Affiliate Colleges Degree will not Recognized

Higher Education Commission Islamabad has informed the parents and their children that the private university and DAIs are not authorized to offer the affiliation to the colleges and institutions. The private universities can impart education to the students through main campuses or principal seats or sub campuses and they need to get NOC from HEC. HEC has made it clear that HEC Not Recognized Degree College Affiliated with Private Universities. HEC has issued the list of the sub campus of private universities, which are recognized by HEC and it is available on the HEC website. HEC has issued the alert for parents & students regarding degree status of the affiliated colleges of private universities. The public sector universities are allowed to award affiliation to colleges and institutes within their own territory. The private colleges and universities made some severe irregularities in the past so HEC has to put ban on the private institutes. The private universities award the affiliation to get maximum monetary benefit and they compromise over the standard of education.
