JSMU MBBS 2nd Year Exam Forms 2024 Notice

KARACHI: Jinnah Sindh Medical University JSMU has officially announced the examination form submission schedule for MBBS Second Year, Batch-2024 and Year Back candidates. Released by the Examination Department under Ref No: EXAM/JSMU/MBBS/2662/10-26, the notification specifies that eligible students from Sindh Medical College JSMU and all affiliated medical institutions can download their forms starting October 26, 2026, to register for their upcoming professional evaluations.

Ensuring Smooth Administrative Rollout

This notification serves as the official operational roadmap for undergraduate medical students preparing for their second-year assessments. Under the directives of Controller of Examinations Prof. Dr. Fauzia Imtiaz, the university has established clear deadlines, a standard examination fee of Rs. 7,500/-, and strict penalty structures to ensure transparent and orderly administrative compliance across all constituent and affiliated medical colleges.

Key Examination Submission Deadlines

Candidates must adhere strictly to the timeline issued by the JSMU Examination Department to avoid late fees or application disqualification:

Regular Form Submission: October 26, 2026, to November 14, 2026.

Late Fee Period: A late fee of Rs. 500/- applies from November 16, 2026, onwards.

Absolute Deadline: No examination forms will be accepted under any circumstances after November 20, 2026.

Fee Structure and Submission Guidelines

The regular examination fee is fixed at Rs. 7,500/-. The submission workflow differs based on the students institutional affiliation:

Sindh Medical College JSMU Students: Must download the form from the JSMU Exam Download Portal, complete all details, attach an original paid fee voucher of Rs. 7,500/-, and submit it directly to the Student Affairs Department of JSMU.

Affiliated Medical Colleges: Students must print and fill out the form, pay the Rs. 7,500/- fee, and submit the paperwork to the designated focal person at their respective institution. Focal persons will then compile and submit all forms to the universitys examination department along with consolidated pay orders.

At the time of submission, candidates must accompany their application forms with the following mandatory documents:

Photocopy of transcripts from the last Annual or Retake examinations.

Copy of a valid university Enrollment Card.

Two recent passport-size photographs.

Original paid fee voucher applicable specifically for SMC candidates.

Consolidated pay order applicable for students from affiliated medical colleges.
