LUMHS Admissions 2025 PhD Programs
Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences LUMHS, Jamshoro, Sindh invites applications for admission into its Ph.D. Programme in Epidemiology & Public Health for the academic session 2024–2025. Aspiring candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply online through the official university portal.

Ph.D. in Epidemiology & Public Health Duration: 3 Years
Eligibility Criteria
Academic Qualifications
Must hold an M.Phil or equivalent degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 Semester System or First Division Annual System.
Foreign degree holders must provide PMDC/HEC equivalence.
Medical Background
Applicants must be MBBS/BDS graduates from a PMDC-recognized institution Schedule I or II.
One-year house job completed at a PMDC-recognized teaching hospital.
Valid PMDC registration is required.
Preference
Applicants with research experience and publications will be preferred.
Age Limit
Private Candidates: Under 40 years
In-Service Candidates: Under 45 years
In-service candidates must submit a No Objection Certificate NOC from their employer. An advance copy may be submitted with the application.
LUMHS Admission ProcessA Computer-Based Entry Test will be conducted by the Postgraduate Medical Centre, LUMHS.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview before the Postgraduate Committee.
Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be considered.
Previously submitted applications for this program will be automatically included; no re-submission required.
Fee Structure
Application processing and entry test fee: PKR 7,500 non-refundable
Fee must be submitted via online challan available on the university website: www.lumhs.edu.pk

No applications will be accepted after the deadline.

Admission may be revoked if any information is found false or if eligibility criteria are not met.
