Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences LUMHS has issued an admission notice for postgraduate M.D/M.S courses for the academic session starting in June 2024. Applications are invited online for the following postgraduate programs, with a duration of either 4 or 5 years, at LUMHS, Jamshoro.
The M.D courses include:
- M.D Cardiology 5 Years
- M.D Neurology 5 Years
- M.D General Medicine 4 Years
- M.D Paediatrics 4 Years
- M.D Psychiatry 4 Years
- M.D Forensic Medicine 4 Years
The M.S courses include:
- M.S Neurosurgery 5 Years
- M.S Orthopaedics 5 Years
- M.S Plastic Surgery 5 Years
- M.S Urology 5 Years
- M.S ENT 4 Years
- M.S General Surgery 4 Years
- M.S Gynaecology & Obstetrics 4 Years
- M.S Ophthalmology 4 Years
General information regarding eligibility criteria and fee structure is available on the universitys website at www.lumhs.edu.pk. Applicants must deposit a non-refundable fee of PKR 20,000, which includes the application processing and Part-I Examination fees. The online challan is accessible on the university website.
The university reserves the right to cancel any or all advertised courses partially or wholly. Modifications to the schedule or courses may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. Additionally, the university reserves the right to change the rules and regulations for postgraduate studies periodically.
The Postgraduate Selection Committee holds the authority to cancel any admission. In-service candidates must obtain a no objection certificate from their employer when applying for postgraduate courses. No separate call letters will be issued for entry tests or interviews; candidates should visit the website for updates. Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
