The Higher Education Commission HEC of Pakistan, via the Education Testing Council ETC, has issued an official alert detailing the enrollment and examination schedule for the Higher Education Aptitude Test HAT. This testing cycle is specifically designed for candidates seeking admission into postgraduate MS and MPhil degree programs across the country. Eligible applicants must navigate the online gateway to secure their examination slots before the approaching seasonal cutoff.
Registration Deadlines, Examination Timelines, and Support Portals
Online portals are currently live and accepting applications for the MS and MPhil aptitude tracks. The deadline to complete the online registration process is set for Sunday, June 07, 2026. Following the closure of the registration window, the ETC will administer the standardized aptitude test on Sunday, July 05, 2026. Furthermore, the commission announced that registration parameters for the specialized HAT-Subject tests, which cater directly to Ph.D. program applicants, are scheduled to open later in June 2026.
