HEC Law GAT 2024 Registration Details

HEC Higher Education Commission has unveiled the schedule for the Law Graduate Assessment Test 2024 Law GAT. This essential examination is specifically designed for LLB graduates aspiring to obtain Bar Council Registration. Registration Information:

Interested candidates must submit their applications online at the HEC portal by December 25, 2023.

Online registration is accessible through the official website, and applications should be completed on the HEC website.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible, candidates must hold a Bachelors degree in Law or its equivalent from a university recognized by HEC/PBC.

Test Centers:

The test will be conducted in various centers, and applicants can select their preferred test center during the application process.

A minimum of 250 applicants must choose a specific center for the test to be held there.

Once a test center is selected, it cannot be changed after registration.

How to Register:

Visit the official website for online registration.

If encountering difficulties during online registration, visit onlinehelp.hec.gov.pk or seek guidance at HEC Secretariat or HEC Regional Centers.

Application submission involves two steps: profile completion in the "My Profile" section and application submission via the "Law Graduate Assessment Test" link.

Only submitted applications will be considered; saved or incomplete applications will not be entertained.

Test Fee Payment:

The test fee of Rs. 3000/- must be deposited via 1Link 1Bill invoice participating banks, ATMs, internet banking, mobile banking, Easypaisa, JazzCash, or Upaisa.

Follow the 1Link 1Bill Invoice payment process and verify online payment on the ETC Dashboard.

A printout of the paid fee receipt via 1Link is mandatory on the test day, along with the Roll Number Slip and original CNIC/Passport.

Important Dates and Requirements:

Deadline for online registration: December 25, 2023, at 4 pm.

A minimum 50% score is required to pass the Law GAT.

Candidates have a maximum of three chances to clear the test, and HEC will conduct the test thrice a year.

Additional criteria may apply as per the Rules and Regulations of PBC.
