HEC Confirms BS 4 Years & Associate Degree Are Not Postpond
The Higher Education Commission HEC, Islamabad confirms the fake news about four Year BS Program and Two Years Associate Degree Program circulating on social media. The HEC hold a meeting of Vice Chancellor’s Committee Meeting on 2nd July 2021. The commission confirmed that this news is fake.
According to decision of the HEC meeting, both BS and AD Programs will continue further. The enforcement of the policy prescribed in the HECs Notification dated July 11, 2019, regarding Transition from BA/BSc Programme to Associate Degree Programmes: Phasing Out of MA/MSc Programmes" shall continue in letter and spirit.
Universities that seek or adhere to a policy for undergraduate education policy and / or PhD programs may continue to pursue it diligently.
