Free MDCAT Preparation Program Announced by HEC & USAID for 2024
Higher Education Commission HEC has partnered with USAID to launch the Talent Hunt Program THP aimed at providing free MDCAT preparation for deserving students. This initiative is designed to support talented students from low-income families who aspire to pursue higher education but lack the financial means to enroll in professional entry test preparation workshops. The students can get the fresh information of Free MDCAT Preparation Program Announced by HEC & USAID for 2024.
Program Objectives and Benefits
The THP aims to identify and nurture bright male and female students with outstanding Matriculation and FA/FSc results. By offering entry test preparation workshops, the program helps these students secure admission to top medical, engineering, and general universities in Pakistan. Participants will receive a daily transport and meals allowance of PKR 1500/-.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the USAID Talent Hunt MDCAT Preparation program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Be a Pakistani or AJ&K national
• Come from a low-income family
• Have secured at least 70% in Intermediate Part-I / Part-II
Application Process
Interested students can apply online by following these steps:
• Submit applications at https://talenthunt.hec.gov.pk/
• Applications will be reviewed by the HEC Committee to confirm eligibility.
• A merit list will be created based on academic performance and financial need.
• Offer letters will be issued to the top candidates, depending on available slots.
Program Coverage
The Talent Hunt Program provides several key benefits:
• Daily stipend of PKR 1500/-
• A mock test conducted after the preparatory workshop
• Hostel facilities available at selected centers
