Ehsaas Stipend Program For Primary To Inter Level

The Government has now announced Ehsaas School Scholarship Program for Primary to Inter level students enrolled in the government schools and colleges. The Benazir Income Support Program Board has approved the inclusion of Intermediate Year and Second Year students in the Wasila E Taleeem Program. The board has approved a stipend of Rs 3,500 per quarter for boys and Rs 4,000 per year for first year and second year girls. Now the government will give a stipend of Rs. 3000 / - as a quarterly stipend. The Board has launched the Ehsas Matric / Inter-Student Education Scholarship. During the June 16 meeting of the BISP Steering Committee, formal approval was given to add higher secondary education to the programs and they referred the matter to the BISP Board for final approval. From next July, deserving candidates in grades six to ten will receive scholarships at a rate of Rs 3,000 per student on a quarterly basis.
