Disheartening Results in Punjab Inter Supply Exams 2023
Lahore Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education BISE has released the outcomes of the Intermediate Supply Exams for the year 2023, unveiling a concerning trend in student performance. The students can get fresh updates of Disheartening Results in Punjabs Inter Supply Exams.
Low Passing Rates Across Punjab
According to the official results, a mere 35.75 percent of examinees managed to secure passing grades. Out of the 53,000 students who participated in the exam, only 18,000 students successfully passed, indicating a significant 64 percent failure rate as 35,000 candidates fell short of the required standards.
Faisalabad Board Reports Similar Disappointing Figures
The disappointment extends beyond Lahore, as the results from BISE Faisalabad echo a similar sentiment. Only 38.79 percent of candidates succeeded in the examination. Among the 24,033 male and female students who undertook the exam, a mere 9,322 candidates achieved passing grades, reflecting a challenging situation.
Extension in Submission Deadline for Matric Exams
Meanwhile, the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen PBCC has taken a different approach by extending the submission deadline for admission forms for the Secondary School Certificate Matric Annual Exams.
Admission forms, accompanied by a single fee, can now be submitted until December 22. Additionally, the dates for form submission with double and triple fees have been extended to January 05, 2024, and January 13, 2024, respectively. This extension provides students with more time to complete the necessary formalities for the upcoming Matric exams.
