British Council Scholarships for Pakistani Students Doubles
British Council awards the scholarships to Pakistani students every year to get admission in the leading universities in UK in various programs. Now BC has increased the number of scholarship by 100 percent for Pakistani students. The scholarships are awarded to the students under Scotland Pakistani scholarship program for young women and girls. The Scottish government offered the scholarships to Pakistani women through British Council. The candidates can get the latest updates of that BC Scholarships for Pakistani Students Doubles.
Scottish Government International Development Minister has made the announcement of the additional £500,000 in funds for the scholarship scheme. The number of scholarships are doubled, which will be provided to the underprivileged girls in the areas, which are affected by the floods. The women and girls, who are affected by flood, they can continue their education with less disruption.
Scottish Pakistan Scholarship scheme was launched in 2013 with the objective to support the women and girls of underprivileged areas so that they can get higher education and secondary level education. This scheme supports the students for graduate studies for Pakistani women in the HEC-recognized University in Pakistan.
It also awards the scholarships to the young girls at secondary level from grade 8 to 12 so that they can continue their education without any hindrance or financial issues. This scholarship scheme will empower the Pakistani women and girls so that they can contribute to their access to education.
