AJK MBBS and BDS Admissions 2026-2027 Open Now

The Joint Admission Committee of Azad Government of the State of Jammu & Kashmir has officially opened online applications for 1st-Year MBBS and BDS admissions for the 2026–2027 academic session starting November 2, 2026.

This intake covers seats in public sector medical colleges of AJK as well as reserved seats for AJK nationals in public medical colleges across Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and Sindh. Candidates must complete their online submissions before the strict mid-November deadline.

Important Dates for AJK Medical Admissions 2026

Applicants must follow the admission schedule to ensure timely processing of forms, board evaluations, and merit list announcements.

Online Application Starts: November 2, 2026 from 8:30 AM

Closing of Online Application: November 16, 2026 at 4:00 PM

Differently Abled Specialist Examination: November 17, 2026 at Div. HQ Teaching Hospital Mirpur

Differently Abled Medical Board: November 18, 2026 from 10:00 AM

Provisional Merit List: November 20, 2026

Submission of Objections: November 26 to November 28, 2026

First Selection List MBBS/BDS: December 6, 2026

Fee Submission Deadline: December 9, 2026

Commencement of Classes: February 1, 2027

Eligibility Criteria & Aggregate Merit Calculation

Applicants must satisfy academic marks thresholds, entrance test qualifications, and residency criteria laid down by PM&DC regulations.

MDCAT Qualification: Mandatory pass in MDCAT with a minimum of 55% for MBBS and 50% for BDS valid for 3 years.

HSSC Academic Requirements: Minimum 60% marks in HSSC Pre-Medical or equivalent 12th-grade qualification, with passed subjects in Biology, Chemistry, and either Physics or Mathematics.

Overseas/Foreign Applicants: Candidates on reserved overseas seats require SAT-II min 550 per subject, foreign MCAT, or UCAT with 50% marks.

Merit Calculation Weightage: SSC/Matriculation 10%, HSSC/F.Sc Pre-Medical 40%, and MDCAT 50%.

Step-by-Step Application Process & Processing Fee

The application process is strictly online. Paper-based or manual submissions will not be entertained.

Register Profile: Access the portal at [https://mcadmissions.ajk.gov.pk/login]https://mcadmissions.ajk.gov.pk/login using a valid email ID and password.
Enter Details & Upload Scans: Complete personal details and upload scanned copies of State Subject Class-I, Domicile, PRC, CNIC, academic certificates, photos, and thumb impressions.
Set College Preferences: Select choices for medical and dental colleges in order of preference. Preferences cannot be changed after final submission.
Pay Application Fee: Generate a pay PRO ID and deposit the non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 3,000/- plus Rs. 400/- IT charges via Easy Paisa, Debit Card, or Online Bank transfer.

Important Note: Applicants seeking reserved seats for AJK Nationals in public medical colleges of Punjab must apply directly through the University of Health Sciences UHS Lahore. Incomplete applications or under-process document receipts e.g., pending Domicile/PRC will be rejected.
