About Sindh Madressatul Islam University
Sindh Madrassatul Islam University was founded in 1885 by some prominent Muslim leaders and they established this high profile educational institute to develop the education among the students. The educational reforms introduced by the British were not acceptable for the Muslims as they wanted to keep the Muslims away from education. The Muslims did not take interest in getting education, which was the great cause of illiteracy among the Muslim especially in Sindh and they started their own education system by setting up the schools and colleges in different areas. The establishment of Sindh Madrassatul Islam School was the great blessings for the Muslims and they started getting education and Quaid-e-Azam was also one of them. Then this schools was promoted to College and it started the intermediate classes in science, humanities commerce and information technology. Now this institute is working as the full fledge university and it has started the graduate, postgraduate and doctoral degree programs in different disciplines, which are busy in providing higher standard of education to the students.
