Merit Calculator for Bahria University Formula

Academic Eligibility Undergraduate

The interested candidates must meet eligibility requirements, which are set by Bahria University.
Before applying for admission, the candidates confirm their eligibility.
If the students pass their exams in annual system, their eligibility will be determined on the basis of percentages of result.
If the students pass their exams in semester system, their eligibility will be determined on the basis of CGPA obtained out of 4.00.
If the result is shown both in CGPA and percentage, the result in CGPA will be given preference.

The Academic Eligibility of each Program is Elaborated as Under:

Note:

The education qualification of BBA (2 Years) and BBA (4 Years) are being run under “Business Studies” department of “Bahria Business School” at Islamabad Campus.

BS Accounting & Finance and Bachelor in Economics are being run under “Management Studies” department of “Bahria Business School” at Islamabad Campus.

Management Sciences

BBA (2 Years)

The candidates must have two years Bachelor’s degree (e.g. BA, BSc, B Com etc) with at least 50% marks or CGPA 2.5/4.0 in any discipline

BBA (4 Years)

Intermediate or it’s equivalent with at least 50% marks (excluding NCC) in any discipline.

BS (Accounting and Finance) (4 Years)

Intermediate or it’s equivalent with at least 50% marks (excluding NCC) in any discipline.

BS (Economics) (4 Years)

Intermediate or it’s equivalent with at least 50% marks in any discipline.

Engineering Sciences

BSE and BCE (4 Years)

The candidates must have passed intermediate examination or it’s equivalent with at least 60% marks (excluding NCC) in Pre–Engineering Group, or with Mathematics, Physics & Computer Studies.

BEE (Electronics/Telecommunication)(4 Years)

The candidates must have passed HSSC exams or it’s equivalent with at least 60% marks in Pre–Engineering.

BS(CS) (4 Years)

The candidates must have at least 50% marks in HSSC/equivalent exams with Mathematics.

BS(IT) (4 Years)

The candidates must have passed inter class exams with Mathematics at least 50% marks or equivalent qualification certified by IBCC.

Earth & Environmental Sciences

BS in Geology/Geophysics/Environmental Sciences (4Years)

The candidates must have passed HSSC with Pre–Medical/Pre–Engineering subjects or A-level/equivalent with at least 50%marks with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology.

Humanities & Social Sciences

BSS (Bachelor in Social Sciences)(4Years)

The candidates, who have passed inter exams or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in any discipline, can apply for admission to four-years bachelor degree program in Social Sciences.

Maritime Sciences

BS MB & M (Bachelor in Maritime Business & Management)(2 Years)

The candidates must possess 14 years of education in the shape of Associate Degree in Nautical Sciences / Ship Management of BA / BSc in Maritime Studies with CGPA 2.0 or 50% Marks.

BS MB & M (Bachelor in Maritime Business & Management)(4 Years)

The candidates must have HSSC or it’s equivalent with at least 45% marks in any discipline.

LAW

LLB

The candidates, who have passed their inter class / A level or equivalent exams with 50% marks and they also have cleared their Law Admission Test (LAT) with 50% marks, they are eligible for admission in the discipline of LLB. The candidates, who have not appeared in their LAT, they are eligible to apply for admission and they have to submit their result with the required percentage. In other cases, the admission will be cancelled. After the successful completion of the course, the students will get the LLB degree. This law degree will be the academic and professional degree in law and legal studies.
