The annual exams of the books organized by Wifaq Al-Madaris Al-Arabiya Pakistan were held from 27 Rajab Al-Mujab to 2 Shaban Al-Muazzam 1447 AH, which continued from 17 January to 22 January 2026 according to the Christian calendar. These exams were completed in an organized manner across the country from Saturday to Thursday, in which thousands of students from religious schools and universities participated. Details of the exams held across the country and overall performance
The results were formally announced on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, corresponding to 6 Ramadan 1447 AH. The announcement was made by the President of the Federation, Sheikh Al-Hadith Hazrat Maulana Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani Sahib, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the Nazim-e-Ala Sheikh Al-Hadith Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Hanif Jalandhari Sahib, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the Director-General of the Federation, Sheikh Al-Hadith Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Hanif Jalandhari Sahib, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the Nazim-e-Ala On this occasion, he appreciated the academic performance of religious institutions affiliated to the country and expressed satisfaction over the successful completion of the exam process.
 
A total of 3877 exam centers were established across the country to conduct the exams this year. A staff of 25,590 people, including superintendents and assistant supervisors, was deployed at these centers to maintain exam discipline. The number of madrassas participating in the exams for the Book category was 12,961, while the number of madrassas participating in the exams for the Hifz-ul-Quran al-Karim category reached 14,701, which shows the wide scope of this system.
 
According to the statistics, a total of 659,228 students submitted their applications for all grades. Out of these, 629,962 candidates actually appeared for the exams. Out of those who participated in the exams, 536,408 students were declared successful, while 93,554 candidates could not succeed. Thus, the overall success rate was 85 percent, which reflects the quality of education and the hard work of the students.
