The Higher Education Commission HEC has officially denied recent claims suggesting that the Diploma of Associate Engineering DAE is now equivalent to a Bachelors degree. The students can get the latest updates of Will an DAE now be equivalent to a Bachelor degree?.
In a statement shared via its verified WebX account, HEC declared that the notification being shared on social media is completely false. According to the Commission, the document alleging that a DAE represents 14 years of education holds no validity.
HEC Labels Circulating DAE Notification as Fake
HEC has strongly advised the public to ignore such misleading announcements and emphasized that only updates from HEC’s official and verified sources should be considered credible.
This clarification comes in response to a document dated July 23 that has been widely circulated on social media, falsely asserting that the three-year DAE qualification, pursued after intermediate, has been recognized as equivalent to a bachelor degree by HEC Pakistan.
