UoK Need-Cum-Merit Based Scholarship Deadline Notice
The University of Karachi, Student Financial Department, Zakat & Ushr Department, Government of Sindh, has issued a notification for students who have been selected under the Need-Cum-Merit Based Scholarship Zakat Fund for the academic year 2024–25. Important Notice for Awarded Students Regarding Submission of Income Documents to Avoid Scholarship Recovery
All selected students are required to submit original plus one photocopy of their father’s and mother’s pay slips, salary certificates, or pension certificates if applicable, in case of government employment or pension status. These documents are necessary for verifying employment status, pay scale, or pension details.
The required income documents must cover the period from 1st July 2024 to 30th June 2025 12 months.
Students must ensure submission of these documents by 5th May 2026, between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
This verification process has been initiated following observations raised in a Federal Audit report concerning the award of scholarships to children of government employees.
Failure to submit the required documents within the given deadline will result in recovery proceedings of the scholarship amount, as mentioned in the relevant record, without any further notice.
