UOK– ICCBS Admissions 2025 M.Phil Programs

The International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences ICCBS, a world-renowned research institute and part of the University of Karachi UOK, is pleased to announce admissions for its M.Phil. and Ph.D. degree programs for the year 2025. UOK Admissions Offered:

Molecular Medicine at PCMD, focusing on Molecular and Cellular Biology, Molecular Genetics, Molecular Pharmacology, Neuro-Pharmacology, Pathophysiology, Biopharmaceutics, Computational Drug Discovery, Structural Biology, Stem Cell Research, and Molecular Pathology.

Chemistry and Pharmacology at H.E.J. Research Institute of Chemistry, including Organic Chemistry, Analytical, Physical, Inorganic, Applied Chemistry, Bio-Organic Chemistry, Textile Chemistry, and Pharmacology.

Eligibility Criteria

For M.Phil. PCMD - Molecular Medicine

M.Sc. or four-year B.S. degree in Biochemistry, Genetics, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Medical Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Physiology, Zoology, or equivalent professional degrees such as MBBS, B.S., B.Pharm., Pharm.D. with at least a second division from an HEC-recognized university.

Candidates with MBBS, BDS, DVM, or equivalent must complete 15 credit hours 300-600 level courses before the 24-credit hour M.Phil. courses 700 level.

For Ph.D. PCMD - Molecular Medicine

Relevant M.Phil., M.Pharm., or equivalent degree with a strong research background.

For M.Phil. H.E.J./T.W.C. - Chemistry/Pharmacology

M.Sc. or four-year B.S. degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Applied Chemistry, B.Pharm., Pharm.D. or equivalent with at least second division from HEC-recognized institutions.

MBBS, BDS, DVM candidates must complete prerequisite credit hours before starting M.Phil. coursework.

For Ph.D. H.E.J./T.W.C. - Chemistry/Pharmacology

M.Phil., M.Pharm., or equivalent in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Medical Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, Physiology, or Zoology from HEC-recognized universities.
