The Registrar Office of the University of Karachi, located on University Road, Karachi-75270, has issued an official circular dated March 2, 2026, under reference number Estt.N.T.1/2026. The announcement has been made with the approval of the Vice Chancellor. The students can get the latest information regarding UoK Announces Revised Deadline for Spring 2026 Semester & Exam Fees.

Official Notification Regarding Extension of Fee Payment for Morning, Evening and KUBS Programs

According to the circular, all students across various academic programs are required to submit their Spring 2026 semester fees no later than March 15, 2026, without any late charges. In addition to the current semester fee, students who have outstanding dues from previous semesters must also clear those amounts by the same deadline to avoid penalties.

The Karachi University has clearly stated that students who have failed to pay fees for more than two semesters will be categorized as defaulters and will be required to pay a fixed re-admission fee of Rs. 5,000. This amount will be applicable in addition to any unpaid dues.

The circular further explains that late payment charges will be imposed starting from March 16, 2026. A surcharge of 5 percent will be applied to the current semester fee if it remains unpaid after the deadline. For students with pending dues of more than two semesters, a 10 percent late fee will be added to all outstanding amounts, along with the Rs. 5,000 re-admission fee.

The administration has also warned that students who fail to settle their dues may face serious consequences. The Semester Cell may withhold the issuance of admit cards for Exams in the case of defaulters. Furthermore, students with unpaid fees will not be permitted to appear in Exams until they have fully cleared all outstanding payments.

To facilitate the payment process, the University of Karachi has provided multiple options for fee submission. Students must download their fee voucher from the official university website at uok.edu.pk/semesterfces/ using the Kuick Pay UBL system. Once the voucher is generated, payment can be made through designated UBL branches. Students or their authorized representatives are required to visit the campus branch with a printed copy of the downloaded fee voucher for processing.

Additionally, students can use the Kuick Pay mobile application to submit their semester fees digitally. Payment is also accepted at Al-Falah bank branches, where the student or their representative must present the printed voucher when visiting the campus branch.

The university has attached the detailed fee schedule for the Spring 2026 semester with the circular. Any previous unpaid amounts will automatically be added to the total payable amount.

Students are strongly advised to meet the given deadline to avoid additional charges and academic inconvenience. Timely payment will ensure smooth processing of Exam documentation and uninterrupted participation in the semester activities.
