UET Lahore Announces Dates for 2026 Combined Entrance Test
University of Engineering and Technology UET Lahore has released the schedule for the Combined Entrance Test CET 2026, which is required for admission to four-year undergraduate programs across Punjab. According to the official notification, the computer-based test will take place from March 30 to April 3, 2026, with candidates attending their assigned test centers on the designated date and time. Key Details for Undergraduate Admission Test Released
The CET is compulsory for eligibility in engineering, computing, and related programs, though taking the test does not automatically ensure admission. The test will cover Intermediate FSc level topics and consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, each carrying four marks, with no negative marking and no minimum passing score. Subjects tested will include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, Computer Science, and Statistics, depending on the program chosen.
Test centers will be set up in Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Narowal, Sargodha, Rahim Yar Khan, Taxila, and Gujrat. Candidates must select their preferred center during online registration, and this choice cannot be changed later.
The last date to submit applications and pay the Rs. 3,000 fee is March 22, 2026. Admit cards will be available for printing from the evening of March 24, 2026, and results are expected on April 17, 2026.
On the test day, candidates must bring a valid original identification document, such as a CNIC or Juvenile CNIC, original Matric or Intermediate certificate, passport, or NADRA-issued Form-B with photograph. Late arrivals will not be allowed entry.
