Programs Offered in UET Courses 2026
The university invites applications for both Masters and Doctoral levels in the following departments:
- Engineering Fields: Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Mining, Industrial, and Agricultural Engineering.
- Technology & Sciences: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, and Computer System Engineering.

Eligibility Criteria
- M.Sc. Programs: A minimum of 16 years of education in a relevant discipline with a CGPA of at least 2.0/4.0 or 50% marks in the annual system.
- Ph.D. Programs: A relevant M.Sc./M.Phil. degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 or equivalent.
- Entrance Test: A minimum score of 50% in the GAT General for Master’s and 60% in GAT Subject for Ph.D. is required.
Admission Schedule
- Application Deadline: January 16, 2026.
- Entrance Test Date: Scheduled between mid and late January depending on the department.
- Commencement of Classes: March 2, 2026.
