UET Admissions 2025 M.Phil Degree Programs

The University of Engineering and Technology UET Peshawar invites online applications for admission to its Master M.Sc., M.Phil., and Ph.D. programs for Fall 2025. Plan A Research-Based M.Sc./M.Phil.:

26 Credit Hours Coursework + 6 Credit Hours Research

Plan B Course-Based M.Sc./M.Phil.:

32 Credit Hours Coursework Only

Duration:

Minimum: 1.5 Years

Maximum: 4 Years

Eligibility Criteria

For Master/M.Phil. Programs:

16 years of education Bachelor’s or equivalent in relevant field

Minimum 50% score in UET GAT General or GRE General

Engineering Applicants must have valid PEC registration.

Program-specific eligibility is listed in the prospectus.

For Ph.D. Programs:

Master/M.Phil. 18 years in relevant field

Minimum CGPA: 3.0/4.0 or 3.75/5.0 or First Division in Annual System

Minimum 60% score in UET GAT General or GRE General

Applicants with lower CGPA/division may be considered under HEC’s Graduate Policy 2023.

Admission Test UET GAT – General

Candidates applying for M.Sc./M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs must qualify the UET GAT General test. The test is mandatory and carries 50% weightage in the final merit.
