Admission Eligibility and Selection Process

To ensure academic rigor, all UAF postgraduate admissions require candidates to qualify for the GAT/GRE Subject Test. For masters level programs, a minimum of 50% marks in the GAT is generally required. We invite national nominees from all provinces and international students to apply, provided they meet the minimum eligibility criteria set by the Higher Education Commission HEC. Please ensure all terminal degree transcripts are issued prior to the application deadline to maintain eligibility.

How to Apply for UAF Postgraduate Admissions

The application process is entirely digital, making it convenient for all prospective students.

Online Registration: Visit the official UAF Postgraduate Portal to complete your online admission form.
No Physical Submission: The process is fully online; there is no requirement to submit physical documents.
Application Fee: Ensure you pay the required processing fee for the GAT/GRE subject test to finalize your application.

Admission Schedule: Important Dates

Mark your calendars for the upcoming UAF entry test sessions:

1st Entry Test: Online registration is open from June 04, 2026, to July 01, 2026. The test is scheduled for July 19, 2026.

2nd Entry Test: Online registration will be available from July 21, 2026, to August 10, 2026, with the test date on August 16, 2026.
