Summer Vacations in Pakistan
National Command and Operations Center has issued the proposal to the federal and provincial governments of Pakistan regarding summer vacations in schools and colleges from 18-07-2021 to 01-08-2021. NCOC has conducted the meeting to make the final decision regarding summer vacations and NCOC Suggests Summer Vacations in Schools across Pakistan.
The provincial governments will make the decision of announcing the summer vacations in the schools and colleges and their decision will be considered as final. Punjab Education Minister has proposed that the summer vacations will be announced from July 02 to August 02 due to increasing heat waves. KPK Government has decided to give summer vacations from July 1 to 11 July during which primary and higher-secondary educational institutions will remain closed.
The corona situation in the country is also improved and the number of cases of the COVID-19 affected people are decreased and now the teaching process is going to be started once again to retain the academic activities in the educational institutes as the study of the students has already affected. The federal government has announced that the Inter-Provincial Education Ministers conference will be managed, in which the schedule of the matric and intermediate classes annual exams will be finalized. On the other hand, Sindh government has informed the private educational institutes that the government of Sindh will not announce summer vacations in the schools and colleges this year so that the educational institutes focus on the education of the students to make up their academic loss.
