SBBU Releases Zakat Need Cum Merit Scholarship for Session 2026
Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Nawabshah SBBU has announced the SBBU Zakat Need Cum Merit Scholarship 2026, offering financial support to deserving students through a Need Cum Merit Scholarship Program. This scholarship is launched in collaboration with the Auqaf Religious Affairs Zakat & Ushr Department to help students from low-income backgrounds continue their higher education without financial burden.
According to the official notice, the SBBU Zakat Need Cum Merit Scholarship 2026 is available for students of batches 2023, 2024, and 2025, and both fresh applications and renewal cases are accepted. The SBBU Nawabshah has strongly encouraged orphans and differently-abled students who qualify as Zakat mustahiq to apply. Applicants must submit important documents including the original Istehqaq Certificate issued by the District Zakat Officer/Chairman, original salary slip or income certificate not older than six months, domicile copy, CNIC copies of student and father/guardian, student ID or admission letter, photocopies of semester marksheets, and copies of last paid utility bills such as electricity, gas, telephone, and water.
Students must ensure their applications are complete and submitted through the proper channel, as forms must be submitted to the concerned departmental coordinator before the deadline. This announcement makes the SBBU Zakat Need Cum Merit Scholarship for Session 2026 a valuable opportunity for students who need financial assistance while maintaining strong academic performance.
