The Provincial Minister of School Education has issued the directions to put an immediate ban on the PMD Punjab Textbook Board ‘Sarmaya Urdu’ which is published by the Tehzib Sons Publications. Sarmaya Urdu Ban on School Education Minister Special Instructions.

PCTB has issued the instructions through the official notification on 29 June regarding preclusion of book named ‘Sarmaya Urdu’, which was distributed without earlier approval. This book has contained the content of the wrong date of birth of the founder of Pakistan. This book is distributed and sold without earlier endorsement and approval off the PCTB, which is the infringement of section 10 of PCTB Act 2015. The education minister of Punjab has issued the instructions against the publisher as the publisher has ignored the rules and regulations of the printing, publishing and distribution of the book with the prior approval of the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board and the government is going to taking strict legal action against the publisher.
