Reopening of Education Institutes in September Agreed

The Inter Provincial Education Minister Conference was conducted and it was decided to reopen the schools, colleges and universities during the month of September. Reopening of Education Institutes in September Agreed.

Due to spreading of the coronavirus pandemic in the country, the educational institutes are closed and the meeting was conducted, which was chaired by the Federal Education Minister. This Inter Provincial Education Minister Conference was attended by the education ministers of all four provinces, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. All of the provinces presented their own suggestion on this issue and they also considered this issue of reopening of the schools under the SOPs. It was decided in this meeting that the educational institutes will be reopened under strict SOPs during the first week of September. It was also decided to conduct the exams of the professional education and it was decided that two more meetings will also be conducted before 01 September and further details will also be decided. These suggestions will be sent to the National Coordination Committee after consultation with the provinces and the National Command and Operation Center will accord the final approval for reopening of the schools, colleges and universities.
