Punjab Schools May Reopen from 15 August

Punjab Education Minister said that the government and private schools located in Punjab province may be reopened from 15 August. He said that all of the schools may be reopened in different phases and during the first phase, necessary classes will be allowed to start their academic year. The education minister also said that if the coronavirus pandemic situation is improved in the province, the schools will be reopened from 15 August. Punjab Schools May Reopen from 15 August.

He also further stated at 20 children will be allowed to sit in a class. It is also added that there is no chance to open the schools from 15 July but the final decision of the reopening of the schools will be made in the inter provincial ministerial conference, which is going to be held on 07 July. The National Command and Operations Center recommended that the schools and colleges will remain closed till August. Before this, the inter provincial ministerial meeting was going to conduct on 2 July but it was postponed and now the Federal Ministry of Education sought the suggestion from the provinces and the Higher Education Commission ad special SOPs be set up for opening of the schools, colleges and universities.
